PS Vita!

Well the PS Vita is due to come out in about 2 weeks and I thought I might just share some specs on it!

Sweet!
The PS Vita is of course the true successor to the PSP 3000 series. The most notable thing you will notice about it is the dual analog sticks. This should add much more functionality to it. Another thing that you cannot see is the upgraded RAM. It has been upgraded to have 512MB put to system RAM and 128MB of video RAM. This is comparable to the PS3 which has 256MB of system RAM and 256MB of video RAM. A feature I liked a lot about the Vita is that it actually supports 3G connectivity, meaning you can access 3G services anywhere from the Vita!

Along with some hardware improvements it will also have a larger screen, a high resolution 5 inch display, in contrast with the 4.3 inch screen on the 3000. Also the Vita will not support UMD's (universal media disk) and will instead use a card called a Vita card that can store up to 32GB of games and media on it. So overall the Vita looks to be a huge improvement over it predecessor the GO and the PSP 3000. It's defiantly something to look forward to!
